*Normal recommendations apply, however, note that these rides pass through exposed/remote areas of mountain terrain, involving extensive carrying and some river crossings (especially the Glen Avon route). Exact timings/routes will be dependant on prevalent weather and trail conditions; riders must be self-sufficient, equipped accordingly and expect to be on-the-go for several hours.
Please advise in advance (providing contact details) should you wish to take part in either of the rides planned for the 6th and 13th.
Thanks

Saturday MTB club runs
Ecurie Neeps mountain bike club are now running Saturday rides. The routes will be cross country in open countryside rather than trail centres, will aim to be less technical than the Sunday rides and will be cycled at a slightly slower overall pace than the normal "neeps" pace.
If these rides were on the road then the average speed would be around 13mph - this gives you an idea of how fast these Saturday mountain bike rides are. So far three of these rides have been organised and all have been successful and attracted some fit female mountain bikers. See the monthly blog to find out more about what type of rides are on offer and why you should come along. http://neepsonsaturday.blogspot.com/
